Watching Television
Watching Television is often called the killing of time . There is some truth in this saying but we have still something good to say in favour of television watching . Television in our life is a mixed blessing . It has both bright and dark sides . As to its evils , it can influence the children very easily . Children become addicted to it , and thus neglect some important duties . They keep off their most bounden duty the reading and writing . It is especially on the day of a cricket match that they sit tight with the T.V. all day long . Sometimes it telecasts pictures of violence which have bad effects on children .
They grind into their character . And the result is fatal . Children often copy their idols of the screen even at the cost of life . For adults the programmes become dull and boring at times . Yet with all its flaws , television is a good source of entertainment . It has for us a wide range of information about many unknown things . Watching television widens our knowledge in various subjects . It is the man alone that makes the T.V. watching good or bad . We should be careful that watching T.V. does not end in the killing of time .
