A Witted Cap - seller
One summer day a cap - seller walked about to sell his caps and soon got very tired in the scorching heat of the day . " A little rest . " he said to himself and looked around for a place of rest . He sat under a tree to take some rest , and fell asleep before long . He kept his basket of caps at his side . When he woke up , he found no cap in the basket . He heard monkeys chatter . He looked up and saw some monkeys on the branches . All his caps were on their heads . He thought and thought how to get them back . At last he hit upon a plan . It occurred to him that monkeys are keen to copy . " Here I throw my cap .
You throw yours . " said to himself . He drew their attention , and threw away his own cap . The monkeys noticed it . They at once threw down their caps . The cap seller collected them . He left the place in a happy mood .
