A VISIT TO A PLACE OF INTEREST
On the evening of Monday we started for the station. It was 24th January of the last year. We were booked for A VISIT TO A PLACE OF INTEREST .We were booked for Murshidabad-a place of importance.
We availed ourselves of the Lalgola Express from Sealdah. I saw stations, towns, village and green field on both sides of the railway line.
I saw them in the starry night. Next morning the train touched Murshidabad station.
I was in the company of my parents. After breakfast we set out to see the Hazarduari'. It is a beautiful building with many real and false doors.
The building is a museum to show the things of the Nawbab's time. Next we went to Motijhil-a big tank.
We saw Katra Mosque. We crossed the Bhagirathi to see Siraj's tomb at Khusbagh. We saw many things in ruins.
At night we started for Kolkata. The memory of this visit will remain vivid in my mind.
